| The Crews Cousin Cookbook Cookbook Committee Chairman-Betty Jo Herrin Special thanks to David P. Crews, a very creative cousin with many talents. David created the cookbook cover, spine and back with old Crews family photo's from the past. The first cookbook draft was blue but David kindly changed it to beige. Grandpa Hardy had no arms in the picture we sent to David but we finally found a picture of him with arms holding his cane. David edited the cover again and gave Grandpa Hardy arms and his cane. David also retored the marriage certificate of Hardy and Martha Crews, so that we could use it in the cookbook. We dedicated our cookbook "Reflections of a Family" to Julie Cecile Barnard Crews. Aunt Cecile is a true southern hostess. She loves company and people love visiting with her. She has the most warm inviting smile. That coupled with her talents in the kitchen always keep people coming back for more. The picture of the Hardy Crews Family tobacco barn on the back cover is from the Frances Harper collection of photos. It was taken June 8, 1929. Reflections of a Family Cookbook was created online with the help of Contents of the cookbook-coming soon.
